The Soaps Cafe website was released on July 30, 2022, after being built on March 21, 2022. For the time being, readers may anticipate spoilers, Bold and the Beautiful recaps, and Young and the Restless day ahead recaps from Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and Young and the Restless. (Y&R episodes air in Canada one day before they air in the United States.) Comings and goings, the occasional news piece, and opinion essays may all be found on the site.

Darshi, Editor-In-Chief

Darshi, Editor-In-Chief Diane Brounstein is a seasoned writer/editor/researcher with decades of experience in the soap opera industry. Her career began as an intern on three soapsThree soaps: Santa Barbara, Guiding Light as well as General Hospital, often working in the casting offices.

She’s been watching Days of our Lives since Marlena’s second possession in 1994. The first scene she sat down to watch was Marlena hovering a few feet above her bed. A lover of supernatural and fantasy, she was drawn to the show, and immediately fell in love with the characters and the fictional town of Salem.

Jonathan Amirkhan, Assistant Editor

Jonathan Amirkhan was born into a family of soap opera fans. His Nana, like many other daytime drama enthusiasts, introduced her to soap operas.

Jonathan Amirkhan is Assistant Editor at DAYS OF OUR LIVES Corday Productions Inc. / SAG-AFTRA Actor, Voice Over & ADR. From Oct 2014 – to Mar 2020 he was freelance Video Editor ; Camera Operator.

Kevin Bridges, Editor

Kevin Bridges is a renowned entertainment reporter located in Los Angeles. He keeps up with the latest news, casting, behind-the-scenes developments, and trends in the realm of daytime drama as Senior Editor of Soaps Cafe.

He’s frequently seen on the red carpet chatting to your favorite daytime stars. Kevin wrote The Young and Restless Life of William J. Bell the most authoritative biography about William J. Bell the writer of The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.

He is an BB Production Crew member and is a graduate of the Boston University’s College of Communication. Kevin also consulted on the Pop TV show Queens of Drama as a creative consultant. Kevin started his soap career as an CBS web page for the set of Y&R and B&B just after he graduated from college. Kevin has written about television for several publications that include TV Guide, TODAY.com, Variety as well as The Boston Herald.
