Young & Restless boardroom ice queen Victoria isn’t exactly besties with impulsive fashionistas Chloe and Chelsea, but in real life Amelia Heinle can count on portrayers Elizabeth Hendrickson and Melissa Claire Egan in the toughest of times.
The actress spoke of their unshakable bond in a moving November 5 Instagram post — with a photo taken by a friend, featuring the tight trio walking away from the camera arm in arm — that you can see below.
“Thank God for friends who are like sisters,” Heinle wrote, “who are there for each other even when we have to say goodbye and cry and laugh and hold hands.”
She’s speaking, of course, about the devastating loss of Billy Miller, who worked closely with her, Hendrickson and Egan during his time as Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless and passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 43. “No one who knew you Billy will ever forget you,” Heinle said of their charismatic and beloved leading man. “You brought us all together and we are all the better for it.”
Her Genoa City sisters echoed the sentiments. Egan shared the post with a heart drawn around it and Hendrickson added it to her Instagram Stories with the caption “These women. These friends. This family. This love.”
A few of their Young & Restless co-stars offered their support in the replies. “I’m so glad you are together for today and for always,” Tracey E. Bregman said, while Lauralee Bell added a heart emoji and prayer hands.
It’s clear that this beautiful backstage sisterhood will endure no matter what Victoria, Chloe, and Chelsea may get up to on screen.
