Our thoughts go out to The Young and the Restless’ Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) following the death of her beloved horse, Ovi. The CBS soap actress shared the heartbreaking news on social media, along with various photos of her and her son with their extended family member.
“We lost the soul of my ranch this morning,” Bregman began then went on to inform that Standing Ovation, “Ovi,” had “passed away with me by his side.”
Anyone who has lost a pet knows how hard it is as they are part of the family and it was no different for Bregman, who agreed, “This is the hard part for loving these beautiful souls so fiercely.” The family had “10 incredible years together” with Ovi and “loved him deeply.” Closing out her post, the actress expressed, “I hope you are doing canter pirouettes in heaven with Buddha by your side.”

Bregman’s castmates came out to send their condolences, including Greg Rikaart (Kevin), who shared, “I’m so sorry, Tracey,” as Melissa Ordway (Abby) stated, “I’m so sorry and so heartbroken for you. He was the most incredible horse I’ve ever met. Love you so much.” Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe) thought back to when Bregman first got Ovi and recalled, “He had such an incredible presence. He really lived up to his name. Sending love.” Many others passed along their sympathies as well and Doug Davidson (ex-Paul) added, “I hope that your memories will bring you solace. I know he’d want that. He will always be with you, but also at the ranch. You will feel him there.”
