Alert! Playgirl’s Days of Our Lives Issue Features a Downpour of Hot Guys

Soap Opera Hunks Strip Down for Playgirl’s “Days of Our Lives” Edition

The world of soap operas is about to get a whole lot steamier. Playgirl magazine has unveiled its highly anticipated “Days of Our Lives” edition, and fans are in for a real treat.

It wasn’t too long ago that the idea of seeing soap stars bare it all in Playgirl seemed like a relic of the past. Back in the ’80s and ’90s, it was common for daytime heartthrobs to pose for the magazine, but when Playgirl went on hiatus, many assumed that era had come to an end. That is, until the publication made an exciting announcement – they were doing a special edition featuring the hunks of Salem.

Well, the wait is over, and the issue is now available online for all to see. And let’s just say, these guys did not hold back. Robert Scott Wilson (Alex), Eric Martsolf (Brady), Paul Telfer (Xander), Bryan Dattilo (Lucas), and Christopher Sean (Paul) all stripped down for their own individual covers, giving fans an up-close and personal look at their favorite soap stars.

While the thirst may be real, the actors themselves are quick to point out that being a “soap hunk” is about much more than just looking good. As Martsolf explained, “acting in a soap opera isn’t part of a path or ‘trajectory’, it’s the goal itself.” Dattilo echoed this sentiment, saying, “Being on a soap opera is my career trajectory, it’s all I ever wanted to be. For me it’s not a stepping stone; it’s a career.”

The actors also noted the importance of respecting the genre that has given them so much. As Telfer put it, “I can be casually having a conversation with my [TV] mother-in-law or doing business… with my shirt off.” But even with all the attention that comes with being a soap hunk, the actors are mindful of maintaining boundaries. As Sean shared, “People feel they can do or say what they want to you because you are their fantasy person.” Wilson added, “I love the passion of our fans, but even I have a boundary.”

Ultimately, these actors recognize that being a soap star requires far more than just good looks. There’s an incredible amount of work that goes into memorizing lines, shooting scenes, and bringing the emotional depth required for these roles. As the Playgirl feature highlights, these men are not only heartthrobs, but talented performers who have earned their place in the iconic history of “Days of Our Lives.”

So, while fans may be eagerly awaiting a glimpse of their favorite soap hunks in Playgirl, the actors themselves are quick to remind us that there’s more to them than just physical appearances. These are true artists who have dedicated themselves to their craft, and they’re not afraid to show a little (or a lot) of skin along the way.
